Representatives of the ten member organizations of the AMIS Secretariat met on 27 May 2019 in Rome for the Ninth Session of the AMIS Secretariat Steering Committee. The outgoing AMIS Chair Canada and the incoming Chair Brazil also participated in the meeting as observers.

The Steering Committee, which meets once a year in a closed session, is the coordinating body of the AMIS Secretariat to review the AMIS work plan and decide on future priorities of the initiative.
