The tenth session of the AMIS Rapid Response Forum (RRF) was held on 21 April 2021, back-to-back with the first meeting of G20 Agriculture Deputies under the Italian G20 Presidency (19-20 April). The Forum provided an opportunity for AMIS focal points to discuss their experiences in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, especially as regards safeguarding food markets and food security. In view of the 10-year anniversary of AMIS, country focal points also reflected on the future direction of the AMIS initiative, highlighting the important role that AMIS has played in previous crises and the need to maintain and further strenghten the initiative.

Meetings of the RRF are closed to the public; they are intended for designated focal points from AMIS participating countries and members of the AMIS Secretariat Steering Committee.
