The AMIS Rapid Response Forum met for its 12th session on 29 March 2023 in Chandigarh, India. on the margins of the 2nd meeting of G20 Agriculture Deputies. The meeting provided an update on the current food market situation and outlook; a review of recent developments of AMIS; an analysis of the impact of financial factors on importing countries; and as a special topic, an overview of Asia’s role in regional and global food security.

The meeting elected the United States, represented by Mr. Seth Meyer of the United States Department of Agriculture, for a second consecutive term as AMIS Chair.
