The 25th session of the Global Food Market Information Group will be held at FAO headquarters on 20-21 June 2024. The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn the latest about the situation and outlook of global food markets, focusing on the main AMIS commodities (wheat, maize, rice and soybeans) but also looking at new areas that the AMIS Secretariat has starting monitoring, including fertilizer and vegetable oil markets.

At the end of the meeting, the AMIS Chair will be passed from the United States of America to Canada that will be represented by Mr. Donald Boucher, Director-General Sector Development and Analysis Directorate, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
