The AMIS Secretariat Steering Committee is a decision-making body of the AMIS Secretariat. It helps in co-ordinating the different activities and inputs of the international organizations and entities that form the Secretariat. Meetings of the Steering Committee are usually conducted back-to-back to other AMIS meetings, for example of the Global Food Market Information Group. They are closed to the public, while the AMIS Chair is invited as an Observer to discussions on the annual work plan and budget.
